Nerdy Newborn Must Haves (Labyrinth Edition)
This is going to be a really fun edition of NNMH! One of my favorite childhood movies was Labyrinth, the 1986 musical fantasy adventure film starring David Bowie. If you haven't seen it, do yourself a favor and do so! If you have seen it, watch it again, because why not? :)

3. Labyrinth Ludo 9-Inch Plush - Why, there you are, Ludo! Ludo, though menacing in appearance, quickly became one of the most likeable characters in George Lucas' and Jim Henson's Labyrinth movie. Children will love the rich, gorgeous watercolor illustrations by Bruce McNally. About the book: Sarah has trouble coming to terms with the arrival of her new half-brother, Toby. One evening while babysitting, a frustrated Sarah says, "I wish the goblins would come and take you away right now!" Unknowingly, Sarah has uttered just the right words, and the goblins, accompanied by their king, appear in the nursery and whisk away the infant. Dirt and Dump Trucks note: OK. I know this album doesn't feature any songs from the Labyrinth soundtrack, but David Bowie's dreamy melodies translate to a beautiful, ethereal experience that parents will love to listen to as well. It is SO worth checking out the other artists given the Rockabye Baby! treatment. I don't know how I would have survived those early years with the children's music that is out there today!
